Well, the new year's here but the same old Carlo's still here. Ok, so there are a few adjustments to that old Carlo. She's supposed to be renewed right, rejuvenated, reborn so to speak. You know how everyone says they make new year resolutions only to break them within the first week? I decided not to make any but well, just change my lifestyle. So these were my New Year Lifestyle changes or whatever. Not resolutions mind you because not fulfilling them would mean failing at it so they're just decisions if you will
1. Exercise more. I am yet to step out of the house so be patient with me.
2. Eat healthy. That my mother's making sure of. I don't know what I would do without her taking away my yummy cookies and handing me two bananas. Yuck. I mean, yuuuummmmm.
3. Pray more. I started the new year in church on my knees as opposed to watching fireworks and reveling like I always do so that's a great start. Plus I'm finding more and more time to pray so hallelujah to life changes!
4. Read my Bible more. Um, we read the Bible at church and that counts right? Ok, ok, I get it. I'll start today. Sheesh!
5. Be more friendly. Those who know me know that I do not make a good friend. I mean, I'm not one to keep in touch when my friend goes to the UK to do her Masters, or when I leave an entire bunch of friends in a whole other country when I move. But I have made a decision to be pro-actively friendly. To keep in touch, call up people and ask how they're doing, not neglect my old friends, make new ones and remember their names after. Yup, I know it's a whole lot for one person to handle but I will do it in 2009.
6. Enjoy work. I have decided I'm going to enjoy whatever work I will be doing. If I feel like I don't, I will move on. I refuse to be miserable and wish I had done something else with my life. Yes Mr. Semweya, I just might do that Master's in education and teach children. So after my chill session, I'm going out to enjoy my life. Yippee! Can you feel the enjoyment energy?
Well, that's about as far as I went with my lifestyle change. This is meant to be a continuous self-examination so I will keep on adding to the list and I will come back to it in 2010 to see how far I went. Happy New Year everyone.

One week for exercising and then you will find excuses, have to go to work, body hurts dont need it. Wanna bet?
And a happy 2009 to you too.
Good luck with your lifestyle changes, especially the parts with God in them.
And enjoy your life, you only live it once!
Thanx for the support Chanel. Now you're making me chuck you from my friends' list. I have to have only positive people near me to push me to exercise. Sayanara.
Happy 2009 King.
Happy new year to you too!
Good luck with the lifestyle changes....

Anyway, God speed.
I am too much of a coward to make resolutions. The disappointment of failure would kill me. You are a better person than me Carlo. Better.
Happy New Year.
